Just a Random List of things I like...

1. This week, my Kindergarten Class read The Day it Rained Hearts. My students LOVED this book, and after checking out the Inspired Apple Blog, I created a Writing activity for my students. We discussed if we would rather it rain hearts or Meatballs (just like in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs).

2. The Next Step In Guided Reading by Jan Richardson

My team and I have been using a fabulous reading resource.. "The Next Step in Guided Reading". We have edited the Lesson Plan form to best meet our needs. I just copy this sheet double sided for my group, and use this to make notes on.

My Favorite Things...

Here are a few of my favorite teacher things...

1. Seriously, do I need to have a reason? Every morning of mine begins with a cold Diet Coke!

2. Teacher Blogs... Yes, I stalk a ton of teacher blogs! There are so many wonderful teacher blogs out there... My favorites include "Chalk Talk", "Primary Perspective", and "First Grade Parade"

3. Thistle Girl Designs, Dj Inkers, Scrappin Doodles, etc.

4. My mac. I heart my Mac. :)

5. Teachers Pay Teachers-- really how could I not list this one...
